Our thoughts are with everyone whose lives were affected by the wildfires in Northern California, including several members of the Archer Norris family. While people from all different backgrounds have been impacted, some populations are more vulnerable than others and have been hit particularly hard. Most agricultural workers in the area rented their homes, and have now lost everything with no insurance to help rebuild.
The Sonoma County Grape Growers Foundation has partnered with the Sonoma County Farm Bureau to establish a housing recovery fund for agricultural workers and their families who have been displaced by these fires.
Archer Norris will be making a $5,000 donation to the Sonoma County Grape Growers Foundation to assist with these relief efforts. All funds raised by the Foundation will go directly towards supporting agricultural employees in Sonoma County.
