2033 North Main Street, Suite 800, Walnut Creek, CA 94596T: 925.930.6600 F: 925.930.6620
Born in Sonoma County and raised in the Sierra Nevada Gold Country, Jasun brings his love for California and experience with family-owned business to his practice representing multi-generational California family-owned businesses in regulated industries and otherwise. A member of Archer Norris since 2001, Jasun has built his legal practice through representation of a wide array of business entities, including solid waste disposal and recycling companies, contractors, bars/nightclubs, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, insurers and private individuals in litigation and in complex daily transactions. His experience representing business entities in regulated industries has lent itself to the firm’s burgeoning cannabis practice, which Jasun developed for the firm and now heads.
Jasun is a ferocious advocate and takes great care to aggressively represent his clients in business and/or litigation and to carefully assist his clients with all of their business and personal planning goals. He also understands the important role diplomacy and relationship building has in advocating for his clients and implements these skills to help accomplish his clients’ objectives.
Jasun played NCAA Intercollegiate football while attending St. Mary’s College of California. During law school, Jasun clerked for Amador County District Attorney’s Office, Queen’s County (NY) District Attorney’s Office – Homicide Investigations and San Francisco District Attorney’s Office – Felony Gang Violence Unit. Prior to joining Archer Norris, he worked for the City of San Francisco, San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and clerked for United States Attorney for the Northern District Robert S. Mueller, III (Ret. Director of FBI and current Special Prosecutor into Russian Collusion Investigation).
Jasun is a registered Independent and has been an active volunteer for various political campaigns and measures including California Save the Wetlands measure (Sen. Feinstein endorsed 1995) and Voter Security Fraud for Republican National Committee in NYC (1998).
Jasun has two sons and a dog, and remains active in the Walnut Creek community where he has lived and worked for over 20 years by participating in community clean up days, youth sports organizations and other volunteer efforts.
