The spirit of the holidays is defined by goodwill toward others. Giving is one of the traditions that bring the winter holidays to life at Archer Norris. Providing for those in need during this time is a practice we embrace in all our California offices. Our favorite holiday tradition has blossomed into the Angel Tree Program, supporting charities focused on helping families and their children throughout California.
At Archer Norris, our holiday giving reflects each region’s area of need and the interests of our staff, attorneys, and clients.
Focus on Children in Northern California
In Northern California, Archer Norris joins forces each year with Foster a Dream to bring holiday wishes to life in our hometown. Foster a Dream provides programs and resources to build the futures of Bay Area foster children. We collect gifts for Winter Wonderland, a fun event that provides more than 1,200 local foster children with gifts and activities.
Archer Norris has also collected gifts for the Juvenile Hall Auxiliary, a local nonprofit agency giving youth in the Contra Costa County juvenile justice system a second chance through scholarship programs, educational and vocational assistance, youth mentoring programs, and positive outreach. During the holiday season, the Juvenile Hall Auxiliary prepares more than 200 holiday care packages filled with hygiene products and clothing to be hand-delivered on Christmas Eve.
Southern California Focus on Families
Our Southern California offices continued their support of Extraordinary Families. The agency is dedicated to helping abused, abandoned and neglected children find secure, stable and nurturing homes. Extraordinary Families provides for the well-being of children in its care and helps them become independent and successful adults.
Best wishes in the New Year from your friends at Archer Norris.
