ARCHER NORRIS WELCOMES TRIAL LAWYER TOM NIELSEN
Walnut Creek, CALIF., December 23, 2009 – Archer Norris announced today that Thomas D. Nielsen has joined the firm as special counsel in its litigation, construction, real estate and land use practices. Nielsen joins the firm from Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith. He brings 36 years of litigation experience in general liability, professional liability, governmental torts, products liability, and construction, with over 49 jury trials to his credit.

Over the course of his career, Nielsen has defended insurance agents and brokers, real estate agents and brokers, architects, product manufactures, distributors, retailers, propane distributors and component part manufactures. He also handles personal injury and construction defect cases, and serves as a mediator and conducts binding arbitrations. Nielsen is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Propane Gas Defense Association, and has a Martindale Hubbell AV Rating. He earned his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and his B.A. from California State University at Sacramento.
