News | 11.04.11 | San Mateo Daily Journal

In front page news, the San Mateo Daily Journal reported on Peninsula Health Care District’s final appellate victory over a nonprofit group’s, The Peninsula Hospital Guardians, most recent challenge to the construction of the District’s new hospital.  As reported, the initial suit was filed in 2006; the courts have ruled against the Guardians five times, including three appeals.

Archer Norris lawyers Colin Coffey handled negotiations for the new hospital and Doug Straus handled the resulting law suits.  They were ably assisted by Mark Olson and Mike Peterson on this multi-pronged project
