An experienced litigator, Jiyon C. Yun focuses in the areas of products liability, toxic torts, general liability, financial services and construction litigation. She has handled numerous cases from first response to dismissal, settlement and trial.
Experienced in Mass Torts and Automotive Product Liability Litigation
Prior to joining Archer Norris, Jiyon specialized in mass toxic torts litigation in the area of product liability. Her practice included serving on the national coordinating counsel team for a leading electrical product manufacturer, managing over 10,000 pending actions across the country.
Her previous experience also entails handling automotive product liability involving vehicle rollovers and airbag defect claims and matters involving foreign products.
Trained in California’s Criminal Courts
Jiyon’s trial experience includes working at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office in the Consumer Fraud and Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Units. During law school, she worked as a Legal Assistant at the California Attorney General’s Office in the Criminal Law, Correctional Law Section. She also clerked for the Honorable Richard C. Harrison of the California Supreme Court.

With strong ties to the Korean-American community, Jiyon speaks and mentors on issues of common concern. She is a board member of the Korean American Bar Association of Northern California. Jiyon has spoken several times at the annual conference of the International Association of Korean Lawyers where she recently moderated a panel, "Women in the Legal Profession." Jiyon has also spoken internationally about product liability law in the United States.
