A senior litigation associate, James has handled a variety of complex litigation over his career in the general areas of construction defect, products liability, premises liability, and insurance matters. James’ current litigation practice centers on construction defect litigation.
Construction Litigation Practice
James currently focuses on the representation of subcontractors, developers, and general contractors in a wide range of construction defect related matters. He has dealt with complicated construction issues involving a variety of construction projects ranging from custom homes to commercial projects involving shopping centers, high rise buildings, colleges, and public works projects. Most of these disputes are considered complex litigation and involve six-figure demands and multi-million dollar claims. James is dedicated to aggressively defending his clients and resolving their construction disputes in the most efficient manner possible, trying to avoid what can be an unnecessarily lengthy process.
Committed to Pro Bono Service
While in law school, James participated in moot court, wrote for the Journal of Law and Technology and devoted a significant amount of time volunteering at Bet Tzedek, a nonprofit legal organization protecting the rights of low-wage workers.
