Matt’s business and construction litigation practice includes handling shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, breach of business related agreements, and representation of judgment creditors. In addition Matt has represented commercial and residential land developers relative to a wide range of construction and contractor disputes, and mechanic lien issues.

Business transactions are another aspect of Matt’s practice. His legal counsel includes advising individuals, business owners, land developers, and other clients in all aspects of business purchase and sale transactions, asset purchase and sales, formation of business entities including corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, corporate maintenance and governance matters, buy-sell agreements, non-compete agreements, employment agreements, stock redemption agreements, and developer agreements.

Matt’s estate planning and probate practice includes advising clients in trust administration and estate plan preparation such as trusts, wills, powers of attorney. In addition Matt handles probate and trust litigation cases including will/trust contests, financial elder abuse matters, breach of trust and fiduciary and trustee disputes.

Prior to joining Archer Norris, Matt founded and operated the Law Offices of Matthew T. Ward, APLC in Rancho Mirage, California.
